Use of COMPOSED_QUICK_START - is CPU impact on a per session basis

Hello,

Our team are deploying an application that looks to utilise the Recording.OutputMode setting of COMPOSED_QUICK_START. The dev server is small (only 2 cores) and we have noted that there appears to be a major issue with behaviour when we have trialed this out with only a couple of sessions and saw a huge spike in CPU utilisation (almost constantly at 100%). We then moved to a slightly larger VM (4 Cores) and noted the same type of behaviour occurring again.

Can you clarify - in documentation, there is a reference “But take into account that each one of the sessions initialized with this recording mode will require considerable CPU power in your server (at least 1 dedicated CPU).”

Just to confirm - this would mean 3 separate sessions would need a minimum of 3 available cores?

Yes. Or more, depending on the number of users in the session.
