White screen in beginning of recorded video

Hi Team,

We are using openvidu composed recording and we are seeing white/blank screen in the start of every recorded video for 2 minutes approx. The audio is started from beginning, but video is recorded only after 2 minutes. We are using manual recording option and openvidu 2.15 version.

Can u please share any suggestions to resolve this issue?

If it’s 2 min then I think it’s bug

In this case what will be exact solution.This bug is comming from open vidu or from development side.

Openvidu, you will try to update may be it will solved in 2.16

Thank u for your response. I will try to update and check. We are not facing this issue in Individual recording. If u have any other suggestions please let us know

2 minutes is too much.

Check CPU and memory usage as this can be a resource consumption problem.

Update to latest version and check if the bug is still there.

I also have the same problem but I’m using COMPOSED recording mode on OpenVidu 2.14.0.
Before start call, I checked my server, anything normally.
someone tell me the reason? Thanks all!

Hello @Phong_Nguy_n,

First of all, try to update OpenVidu to last version because some bugs have been fixed regarding the recording.

Second, maybe you can benefit from Composed Quick Start recording.

Hi,

Part of my problems of white screen has resolved adding more CPU to the server. When multiple recording occur on the same server de quality of recording is affected.

My server has 16 CPU and 32 GiB.
