We are implementing OpenVidu in our mobile app using openvidu-react-native-adapter. We need to know when a mobile user is speaking. Is there a way to handle speech detection in openvidu-react-native-adapter.
We plan to add this feature in the future in OpenVidu Enterprise Edition.
It is in our mid term roadmap. Maybe it will be available in Q12022

We have in our plans to include speech detection in server side when using mediasoup media server (only available in OpenVidu Enterprise) in Q12022.
Using server side speech detection will allow to use it in react-native (or any other client).
We don’t have a release date.
