Need a help to design AWS yaml without creating a snapshot of AMI

How to implement?

Hello,
I am deploying the openvidu ce version on AWS using the openvidu yaml file.
In that file, it is creating an AMI snapshot is there a way to deploy an application without creating a snapshot off AMI or it is must step to create a snapshot
