I donā€™t understand what you are askingā€¦ there are no problems running openVidu on an intranet, you will still need to have a certificate (self sign should be sufficient). If you have a problem doing so could you give more details about the problem you are having.

The problem I had was accessing the internet from an intranet configurationā€¦

Which OpenVidu stack are you using?

AFAIK in OpenVidu CE you only need to setup DOMAIN_OR_PUBLIC_IP with your private IP and as @aurdoc said, a selfsigned certificate.
