I don’t know if this is an issue with vidu but our scenario works like this.

Stream starts with recording enabled, once done vidu sends api call to our server which then downloads the video and uses ffmpeg to convert the webm to mp4 and then runs an api call to vidu to delete the original recording.

This generally works ok, but for whatever reason two issues:

  1. the video doesn’t always start recording from the time the camera was turned on, sometimes it’s a few seconds short at the start?
  2. sometimes the converted mp4 is just blank, 0 seconds on it as though nothing recorded.

Please file an issue in the github repository providing as much details as possible about your issue:

Recording type (INDIVIDUAL or COMPOSED). Logs of the services of the system when you found issues, etc.
