Hi, we would like to be able to add Asterisk / FreePBX Voip services into our OpenVidu service to provide a full conference service. We’ve previously looked at projects like https://github.com/agilityfeat/kurento-asterisk but they haven’t been maintained.
Given the recent addition of being able to integrate RTSP streams we would like to discuss ideas on how we could include Asterisk users via WebRTC into a conference call.

To integrate Asterisk / FreePBX services into OpenVidu, it is needed to add several missing pieces:
Micael, is this some thing that can be recommended for building into OpenVidu or as a community project. I think the combination of video and WebRTC/VOIP is a power combination.

We are working on an internal project providing SIP integration in OpenVidu.
It is very likely these feature to be part of a commercial version.
Is it possible to finance this feature ?
