Hi,
I’m looking for a web conferencing solution for hosting classroom-like situations and Workshops. Openvidu looks promising, all the basics definitely work for us, but I can’t find any information on my enhanced requirements:
-
We want to provide “high quality” workshops (regarding video quality), which would include professional video equipment on the host/moderator side. We have all the equipment to professionaly stream to Youtube, Facebook or Wowza using Matrox encoders or OBS software (using RTMP Streaming…). Does openvidu provide any endpoint so we can inject such a stream in any of the standard streaming formats/encodings into a workshop session running on openvidu? I know there are technical solutions with HDMI-to-USB3 video grabbers that take a HDMI input from a professional video mixer and then make it look like a webcam on the computer, so you could use openvidu just like using your webcam, but I’d like to avoid that kind of tinkering.

Is there a way to stream an openvidu conference directly from the server to youtube etc? So having a discussion group in an openvidu conference that everyone could just listen to on Youtube/Facebook?
This might be simple questions, so if there is anything in the docs please point me to the right pages or keywords. I was not finding anything
Thanks
