Websocket handshake getting delayed

OpenVidu v2 How to implement?

Hi
I’m deployed openvidu server 2.12.0 in ubuntu by following the Openvidu official docs . When there is an internet connection everything is working fine. After that, I removed the internet access in the server due to some security issues. Surprisingly WebSocket connection getting delayed for 15 - 20 seconds. I can’t figure out how it’s happening. Please anybody explain what the problem is.

My network config

openvidu Server port - 4444 opened publicly (both UDP and TCP)
turn server port - 3478 (both UDP and TCP)
ports 3000 - 3050 (both UDP and TCP) used by turn/stun server

Any help is appreciated!

Please use latest version: OpenVidu 2.13.

Hi @micael.gallego, As you said above I have updated to latest version 2.13 but no luck. Promblem does not resolved

This kind of problems are usually due to some kind of DNS resolution somewhere.

Some people reports that it can be solved adding your public IP.

Hi, @micael.gallego I have set public IP in /etc/hosts file but no luck.
