OpenVidu-Call not working properly

nice to know I am not alone.

Just tested again, iOS 13.5.1 iPhone was ok if and only if it is the 1st, 2nd or 3rd participant. Otherwise, immediately quit app. Also tried ionic 4/5 and node 12/14 combination. Same result.

Please, open another post with the corresponding problem to have a better follow up.

Thanks

I have created a new thread also for this issue, please make sure that this software is fully compatible on all devices. As you know due to Coronavirus Pandemic the demand for online coaching is increase tremendously, but we’re not able to provide this feature to our clients.
Please try to solve this ASAP.

Hello @rahulnagpal,

OpenVidu Call is an open source application. It is created collaboratively by OpenVidu team and the community. If you find any issue, take a look your self and provide a Pull Request ASAP.

Best.

Yes I understand that this is an open source application and I have created a patch to solve this issue by self. In which I have created a function i.e. called at every 2 seconds in which this function checks is there any video i.e. paused? If Yes, then play it again.

But I am not able to find out that why it is stop working when 3-4 iOS devices connected.

We do not have 3/4 iPhones to test your issue.

Can you share the logs of Safari browsers with 3/4 iPhones to see the error you have?

Take into account that maybe is a problem with Safari not able to render more than 3/4 videos at the same time and close the page.

But we’re not playing 3-4 videos simultaneously, we are playing only two videos one for the teacher webcam and other for teacher screen sharing rest all students are not sharing their webcams & screens.

And we’ve tested https://demos.openvidu.io/openvidu-call/#/ this link also on desktop with 10 users as this is also not working well, could I know how much users we can test over this link for sustain connection.

Please describe in detail what issue you have exactly and how can we reproduce it by ourselves.

When we’re trying to connect with 10 different devices on web, some of the devices connected successfully but others not able to connect it showing black screen only…

Can you share the logs in OpenVidu server and console in browsers not receiving the video?

Hi, I have some problem in video call. Can you help?
