Any update, by when next version will be available for production use?
If you open only the documented ports and closed the others, there should be no problem.
We go as fast as we can. It will be available ASAP.
In our WHM firewall is already on and ports that are mentioned in the openVidu document should be allowed manually, so there is no chance that malware could attack with any other port.
Please make sure that with the new update this timeout issue would be resolved permanently.
We hope to fix the problem foreverā¦
The next week we will release the new version.
By when the next version will be released?
We plan to release it during this week.
Earlier it was plan to release between 8th-14tth June, please try to release it ASAP.
We are working on the final bitsā¦
It will be released when ready.
Done with the final bits?
We are still with them. Release will be delayed a bit more.
Maybe it is better to try to solve your issues with 2.14 as it is working for other people without issues. Can you test a clean installation from scratch again?
Yes I have tried to install it again and after that we have tested this on iPhone Safari browsers, after 4-5 devices connected it starts fluctuating.
Ok, then the deployment is solved.
Please open a new post describing exactly what you mean by āfluctuatingā. If you can create a video for us, we can evaluate your issue. The exact versions of the Safari and iOS are very important as some versions have some known issues.
Please also describe if you have the same problem using Google Chrome on PC or the problem appears only in iPhone.
Regards
Issue is mainly on iPhone 6 OS-version 12.4.7, connection disconnected after every 2 minutes and sometimes it shows
/accept-cert
error page
You need install the certificate in your iPhone or deploy OpenVidu in a secure environment using Letsencrypt.
But weāre already using owncert for openvidu and never got any such error on browser:

If the 13.5.1 iPhone is the 4th participant, it often quit-app immediately once join the conference and leaving 1st to 3rd iPhone seeing a black DIV a while.
if the iOS 13.5.1 iPhone is the 2nd participant. it works properly.
Anyone experienced it? I am using On Premises server and owncert.
Thanks very much!
