# Which guides do i need?

I want a video call app with recording capabilities. Between Android device and Web client. Which tutorials/demos do I need to follow? Including deploy on ubuntu.

We recommend you read the following tutorials:

- The simplest tutorial [openvidu-hello-world](https://openvidu.io/docs/tutorials/openvidu-hello-world/)

- [Openvidu-ionic](https://openvidu.io/docs/tutorials/openvidu-ionic/) if you want to do an hybrid application or [openvidu-android](https://openvidu.io/docs/tutorials/openvidu-android/) if you want to develop a native app.

- Moreover, you should read [how to record with openvidu](https://openvidu.io/docs/advanced-features/recording/). This is a feature that you must enable in OpenVidu Server

So if my understanding is correct, I need 3 things.

1. Deploy the server([https://openvidu.io/docs/deployment/deploying-ubuntu/](https://openvidu.io/docs/deployment/deploying-ubuntu/)). Does it include a web front-end?
2. Front end for the Android device(Android native or Ionic).
3. Configuration for connecting the 2 apps and configuration for the recording.

@CSantosM Please can you please answer the questions above? There are so many OpenVidu projects I can’t make sense out of it.
