# Solving a screen-sharing bug without doing all the big refactor is possible?

Hello,

I want to solve this issue without doing a big refactor In one app (based in openvidu 2.12 but with a lot of features added):

> Steps:
> open https://demos.openvidu.io/openvidu-call/
> start a call
> start a screen sharing
> stop a screen sharing
> start a screen sharing again
> Expected results:
> iceCandidates are successfully added
> Actual results:
> iceCandidates are...

How have you solved this issue?

I was comparing between releases and I have an idea about the changes regarding screen-sharing methods but any explanation about what was wrong before so that screen-sharing was working only once a session…and what was fixed will be welcome.

I was solving it in my OpenVidu app without big refactor finally. I was forgetting to update the status of this question.
